I’m glad you made this far, and hope you allow me to assist you in making the next steps to a better life. 

Well I guess this is the part where I tell you a bit about myself.

Hi I’m Clint (founder and owner of Stepping Fwd with Helping Hand), from a young age my empathy and compassion for others (especially those less fortunate) was always greater than most of my peers. I think a lot of this was due to my mother working in a disabled people’s home, which I often visited. So, I was exposed to people with severe disabilities from an early age, and it was installed into me that they should be treated with the same respect as anyone else I came into contact with.

Fast forward a bit, over fifteen years ago (can’t believe how quick that’s gone) whilst in between jobs looking for something new. I came across an apprenticeship scheme to work with people with drug and alcohol issues, to help them get rehabilitated and get there life back on track. At this point I knew I wanted to do something meaningful, but I had never even thought of anything like this (But as they say, you don’t find your calling in life, it will find you). 

Throughout the years of working with this client group it didn’t take long for me to realise that drugs and alcohol were just the symptoms of deeper issues that also needed to be addressed. This is where my journey into life coaching started. I found that I was working with clients differently to most of my colleagues (going deeper with my clients, addressing things that some of them had never spoken about before). Some of the clients I had assisted to getting drug-free and completing treatment, wanted to continue working with me privately to work on some of the other issues they were dealing with. Which brings me to where I am now.  Supporting people to overcome the major troubles in their lives, providing a tailor-made service to meet your individual personal needs & circumstances.

My aim is to help you overcome whatever obstacles are holding you back, whether that be stress, anxiety, addiction, career change, mind blocks, low self-esteem or self-worth, low confidence, relationship issues and more.

Using a combination of various skills sets i.e. coaching, counselling and CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). I will help you to identify and formulate the solution to your problems, and develop practical step by step plans to address them.

I provide a professional, confidential, non-generic (tailored to you) service that is designed to successfully get you to where you want to be, and improve your happiness and wellbeing.

I will aim to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. Offering face to face sessions (within a reasonable travel distance) or phone/web chat sessions.
